Hack Arizona is a student-driven hackathon at the University of Arizona, designed to empower students to innovate, learn and connect. During this fast-paced collaborative event, participants come together to create impactful projects, develop new skills and tackle real-world challenges in technology and beyond. Hack Arizona welcomes students from all disciplines, offering hands-on workshops, insightful speaker sessions and engaging challenges tailored to drive innovative thinking to solve the world's most pressing problems.

HackDay delivered innovation, teamwork, and big ideas. 52 students built 22 projects in just 7 hours—powered by AI and the Google Gemini API. Congrats to our award‑winning teams and thank you to MLH and Google for the support. Onward to Hack Arizona 2026!

Hack AZ is a signature academic event at the University of Arizona and the premier hackathon event in the Southwestern United States.
A hackathon is a time bound event that offers participants an opportunity to work together in teams to develop solutions to a specific problem.

Event participation is open to undergraduate and graduate students in the state of Arizona!
